Do you get enough shut-eye time?

Science has long emphasised the importance of enough sleep because sleep deprivation can lead to insomnia, a common sleep disorder. The occasional loss of sleep hours should not fester into a full-blown disorder. Animals are an excellent species to observe when it comes to sleep, like our feline friend here, who seems to have no care in the world, = stress levels are zero.
The problem with not getting enough sleep sometimes looks pretty subtle until it reaches the threshold, and that is where all kinds of health conditions are given a green light. This, agreeably, can vary from person to person. Chronic conditions such as heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, obesity, stress and depression have all been linked to sleep deprivation. You must get enough rest not to overwhelm the body's defence mechanisms that hinder disease development. There are many self-help tools available that can improve poor sleeping patterns.
