The heart works (beats) around the clock, non-stop, without complaining, unless interrupted. This powerful machine knows how to do its job and does it very well when exposed to the right environment, meaning, proper nutrition and exercise are supplied reasonably and constantly.
Presently, the British Heart Foundation reports that 7.6 million people are living with heart and circulatory disease. Every 3 minutes, someone dies from a heart or circulatory disease. Every 5 minutes, there is a hospital admission due to stroke, and 13 babies a day are diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.
People, we need to wake up, as advanced as this country is, if this is what being developed and sophisticated means, then we have missed it. We need to look at the Blue Zone country, (Ikaria, Greece) -the island where people forget to die and pick a page from their longevity book. From observing the way of life of the natives of Ikaria, it is undoubtedly not about knowing how AI works to enable them to live happy, healthy lives, but rather the simplicity of living in WHOLE-CENTEREDNESS.
Life in the fast lane caters to the now, but we should focus on improving it for the future, which is a healthier view of life that feeds the body, soul, and spirit. We can all do our part in improving stress- and anxiety-focused lifestyles. Starting is pretty simple, as I discovered when I lost weight and came from a size 16 to a size 8, and it was not rocket science. The first step I always give out is to eat only at meal times and to practice that for a good 4 - 8 weeks, it soon becomes an affirmed learned discipline, your heart will thank you for it, and you end up doing it subconsciously.
